Kaziranga Jeep Safari:
The Kaziranga park Authorities along with jeep safari associations are responsible for providing jeep safari vehicles which are escorted vehicles with armed escorts/guide and trained wildlife professionals. The head park authority does not allow unescorted jeep safari vehicles or any unescorted to enter and the vehicle must be a registered jeep. Jeep safari in Kaziranga national park is can be said to be a heaven for adventure-loving wildlife tourists and wildlife photographers. It's a very unimaginable experience to enjoy the tour on jeep safari enjoying the view of the raw natural beauty of forest safari in Kaziranga national park and natural surroundings of Kaziranga. Moreover, enjoying an open jeep safari in Kaziranga national park and watching different species of wildlife species along with domestic and migratory bird species. different species of deer, grazing rhinos, the herd of elephants including baby elephants to big old elephants along with wildlife and landscape variations.
Kaziranga national park's Jeep Safari Zones:
There are four zones of the Kaziranga National park. Jeep Safari is allowed in all of the four zones.
The jeep safari is in two shifts:
i) Morning Jeep Safari, and
ii) Evening Jeep Safari.
The four Kaziranga zones are stated below:
Kaziranga Range Or Central Range:
The central range entry gate is about 2 km from NH-37. It is in the southern riverbed of the River Brahmaputra. It is mostly famous for birding and you can witness grazing rhinos, a herd of elephants and other species of the wild flora and fauna in this central range zone.
Eastern Range or Agartoli Range:
It is in near the agartoli village and has a very beautiful sightseeing view. Some wild animals can be spotted easily in this range and the National Highway-37 is near it but you don't have an elephant safari available here. You can only use a Jeep Safari here.
Western Range or Bagori Range:
It is famous for wildlife sightseeing and both elephant safari and Jeep safari is available in this range.
Burapahar Range:
TThis range is famous for trekking and bird sighting. Jeep safari is available in this range having a starting point as Rhinoland Park and is a very enriching experience.
